Seven (7) Zamboangueños, who were part of PMA’s Bagong Sinag Class 2024, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor John Dalipe in City Hall Wednesday afternoon, May 29, on the sidelines of their vacation prior to deployment.
Mayor Dalipe congratulated the PMA graduates, as he expressed pride for their achievements. He said the graduates, exemplify the image of greatness, and serve as models and inspiration to the young generation.
Second Lieutenants Jaime Canayon Jr., Cristofer Francisco, and Andre Karl Sepe – all under the Philippine Army, and Ensigns Lyka Marie Falcasantos, John Rodel Menchavez and Ralph Rollen Rodriguez – all under the Philippine Navy expressed delight as they shared to the mayor their experiences in the academy and their future plans during the courtesy visit. Their batchmate (mistah) 2LT Ma. Kristina Ramos, PA failed to make it to City Hall, as she is spending her break in Manila.
The 7 Zamboangueños were part of the 278 –strong Bagong Sinag Class 2024, who graduated last May 18 at Fort del Pilar in Baguio City with the military’s commander-in-chief, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as guest of honor. (Sheila Covarrubias)
