Sta. Cruz Isle hailed as one of world’s 11 most beautiful pink beaches

Mayor John Dalipe Monday morning expressed elation as he announced that the Big Sta. Cruz Island has been included in Travel+Leisure’s 11 most beautiful pink beaches around the world.

This is the second time that the Sta. Cruz Island has been hailed as one of the world’s best places to visit. In 2019, the island was also recognized by the National Geographic as one of the 21 best beaches in the world.

In his message during the flag raising ceremony at the City Hall grounds Monday, April 8, the mayor thanked the City Tourism Office and all agencies that contribute to the preservation and protection of Sta. Cruz Island. “Let us promote not only Sta. Cruz island but all our tourist attractions in our city. Let us love promote and patronize our very own.”

Meanwhile, the SM City Mindpro also announced during the flag raising ceremony its upcoming 3-day sale promotion, April 12-15 where city government employees may enjoy 10% discounts with no minimum purchase requirements on April 12 upon presentation of valid employee ID. (Sheila Covarrubias)
