Enhanced mobility and improved connectivity are assured with the unveiling of the Zamboanga City bypass road and Tulungatung Bridge 2 Tuesday, September 10.
Funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the project had a total cost of P98.915 million and involved the construction of the bypass and diversion road as well as the expansion of Tulungatung Bridge 2 including its approaches. It was undertaken by Unitec Builders Inc., a private contractor.
The bridge spans 40.90 linear meters while its approaches cover 581.28 linear meters.
The project is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide a more efficient route for vehicles traveling to and from the west coast.
