Mayor John Dalipe Thursday morning personally leads distribution of P3K financial assistance to 1,151 individuals who were infected with minor to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 at the KCC Mall in Gov. Camins.
The recipients compose the 6th batch of COVID-19 survivors who were infected with COVID-19 from January to September 2022. They form part of the over 6,000 beneficiaries scheduled to receive the assistance from July 21 to 28.
The beneficiaries come from barangays Arena blanco, Ayala, Baliwasan, Boalan, Bolong, Bunguiao, Cabaluay, Cabatangan, Cacao, Calabasa, Calarian, Camino Nuevo, Campo Islam, Canelar, Capisan, Cawit, Culianan, Curuan, Divisoria, Guisao, Guiwan, Casanyangan, La Paz, Labuan, Lamisahan, Landang Gua, Lanzones, Limpapa, Lumayang, Lumbangan, Lunzuran, Maasin, Malagutay, Mampang, Mangusu, Manicahan, Mariki, Mercedes, Pamucutan, Pangapuyan, Pasulmanta, Pasobolong, Pasonanca, Patalon, Putik, Quinipot, Recodo, Rio Hondo, Salaan, San Jose Cawa-cawa, San Jose Gusu, San Roque, Sangali, Sinubong, Sinunuc, Sta. Barbara, Sta. Catalina, Sta. Maria, Sto. Niño, Taguiti, Talabaan, Talisayan, Talon-talon, Taluksangay, Tetuan, Tigbalabag, Tigtabon, Tugbungan, Tulungatung, Tumaga, Victoria, Vitali, Zambowood, Zone I, Zone II, Zone III, and Zone IV.
Assisting the mayor during the payout were Executive Assistants Amado Natividad Jr. and Edna Sumergido, City Social Welfare and Development Office Head Soccoro Rojas and staff and paymasters from the City Treasurer’s Office.
The P3K cash assistance to COVID-19 survivors who contracted mild to moderate symptoms is part of the Local Social Amelioration Program launched by the city at the height of the pandemic.
