DAY 1 Of the Dia de Zamboanga Bird Watching Tour at Sta. Cruz Island. The Bird Watching Tour aims to promote our Eco Tourism and biodiversity. Zamboanga City is rich in aviary, sporting multiple bird species that are indigenous only in specific areas of Zamboanga City.
Joining us for the Bird Watching Tour are DENR Region 9, CENRO Protected Area Management Biodeiversity Unit, Zamboanga Bird Club, and staff and students from different educational institution.
This event is sponsored by the City Mayor’s Office headed by Mayor John Dalipe through the City Tourism Office Headed by the ever proactive Sarita Sebastian-Hernandez.
