The Street Dance Competition is a captivating part of the enchanting Zamboanga Hermosa Festival that is celebrated annualy. It transforms the city into a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors, with dancers adorned in mesmerizing and beautiful costumes gracefully moving through the streets. As the different groups perform, their jubilant energy fills the air, creating an electrifying atmosphere that captivates and empowers onlookers. The contagious enthusiasm of the dancers encourages spectators to participate in the city’s exuberant festivities, fostering a sense of unity and celebration throughout the event.

This year’s Zamboanga Hermosa Street Dance Competition has been dubbed as the Grand Hermosa Festival Street Dance Competition which will be split into two categories; the Open Category and the Zamboanga City Hermosa Base. The Hermosa Festival Street Dance Competition participants of the two (2) categories must be a bonafide resident of the city, municipality, institution, organization, barangay, district that they represent and must be 16 years old and above.

 The competition aims to create unique dance movements that showcases the hispanic legacy of Zamboanga City.
