Mayor John M. Dalipe is a passionate supporter of the preservation and promotion of our unique Chavacano language. He recognizes the importance of preserving cultural heritage and believes that music is a powerful tool for achieving this goal. As such, he actively promotes the use of Chavacano in music to keep the language alive and thriving.

 

Last night was a night to remember as TEN amazing local BANDS competed at the Jardin de Maria Clara Lobregat for the first ever WOODSTOCK BATTLE OF THE BANDS!

 

Each band composed original Chavacano songs and sang their hearts out for the chance to win.
