The City Government of Zamboanga, through the City Tourism Office, conducted the second day of the City Walk Tour. The City Walk Tour aims to preserve the historical legacy and heritage of Zamboanga City by educating locals and tourists alike on the rich history of Zamboanga City.
The walk tour was attended by Southern City Colleges, Univerdidad de Zamboanga, and Visitor from Taguig, Manila and was lead by Zamboanga’s very own veteran tour guide Miss Milabel Richter. Miss Richter took the guests through all the famous and historic landmarks in the city proper of Zamboanga City. Some notable landmarks were the Fort Pillar, the oldest branch of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Rizal Park.
