The Zamboanga Peninsula Open Water Swim Circuit showcased the region’s stunning Ecotourism and promoted aquasport tourism in Zamboanga Peninsula. The event was spearheaded by the Department of Tourism Region 9 with the support of the LGU of Zamboanga City. Contestants raced through the stunning ocean of Once Islas for the chance to win the FIRST EVER Zamboanga Peninsula Open Water Circuit. 

Mayor John M. Dalipe showed his unwavering support for this event kickstarting the event and eagerly waited for the each participant to finish this ardous swim circuit.
