Each beneficiary received P1K cash as part of the local government’s Social Amelioration Program (SAP) which aims to support and assist the older members of the community.
The funds distributed will not only provide financial relief for the beneficiaries but also serve as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the city.
Assisting the mayor and vice mayor during the distribution rites were Executive Assistant Amado Natividad Jr., personnel from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and paymasters from the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO). (Bernadeth Lazaro/CMO-PIO)
