City gov’t fetes 41 employees marking 25 years in service

Mayor Beng Climaco yesterday led a fitting tribute for 41 employees celebrating their 25 years in the service of the city government.

“It’s every day that we get to celebrate life at a quarter of a century of service in the government. I am sure you have a lot of stories to share as you serve our people,” Climaco said, addressing the 41 employees during a fitting tribute at Patio Palmeras.

The event was organized by the City Human Resource Management Office in recognition of the outstanding contribution of local government employees to public service.

She said joining the workforce of the city government has been very demanding.

“There were many who have aspired to serve in the city government but only few have been chosen and you were among the few given the opportunity to serve for the past 25 years and beyond,” the mayor said.

“God willing, you continue to serve as you still have much energy and dedication to serve,” she added as she thanked all of theme for giving their best to the service of the city government 25 years and beyond.

Yesterday’s tribute was anchored on the theme “Heroe el Servidor Publico” (A Public Servant is a Hero).-(Vic Larato)
