The city government is fully compliant with the mandates of Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business law specifically in automating its business permitting and licensing system through the establishment of the electronic Business One Stop Shop or eBOSS.
This, based on the results of the monitoring inspection conducted by the team from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on the city’s compliance of RA 11032 and the eBOSS including adherence to the Citizen’s Charter provisions and the level of service provided to the public.
With this, ARTA officials led by Secretary Ernesto Perez are set to present a Certificate of Commendation to Mayor John Dalipe and the City Government for the successful compliance with the Ease of Doing Business Law.
The inspection team last June 30 conducted on-site inspections at the Business Permits and Licensing Office as well as the BOSS at Centro Latino in Paseo del Mar where ARTA representatives interviewed clients to assess the functionality and effectiveness of the eBOSS system. These on-site inspections were preceded by a courtesy visit to Mayor John Dalipe in City Hall.
Through the facilitation of the USAID-Urban Connect project, the eBOSS and e-Payment system were rolled out last July 26 through a memorandum of agreement signed by Mayor John Dalipe, the Bureau of Fire Protection and the G-Cash company. (CMO-PIO) (photo credits: BPLO)
