City Museum Researchers visit Taluksangay Mosque

The City Museum Researchers conducted photo documentation and data gathering and interviewed Hon. Abdurahman Nuño about the Taluksangay Mosque. The Mosque situated at Barangay Taluksangay is considered one of the local cultural properties in Zamboanga City. It is the oldest and the most prominent Islamic Mosque constructed in the entire Zamboanga Peninsula in 1885. The construction was initiated by Hadji Abdullah Maas Nuño.

On the 84th Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga celebration, the City Museum will set up an exhibit at KCC Mall de Zamboanga about the City’s century-old cultural structures in coordination with the City Events Team.
