Internationally acclaimed rower Kristine Paraon from Dulian, Upper Bunguiao continues to make waves, as she captured gold and bronze medals in the recently concluded 2024 South East Asian Rowing Federation (SEARF) Championships held in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

The pride of Zamboanga City claimed the gold medal as she bested opponents from Vietnam and Indonesia in the Women’s Single Sculls category.

She likewise clinched bronze, together with 3 other rowers from Manila in the Quadruplets Sculls category.
