The city will burst into color and lights as Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2025 opens on Saturday, September 27, 6:00 PM at RT Lim Boulevard with its grand Opening Salvo.

This year’s kick-off features the spectacular Parade of Lights, where illuminated floats will showcase Zamboanga’s landmarks, legends, and culture.

For the first time in the festival’s history, a Fluvial Parade will sail from Paseo del Mar, with glowing floats lighting up the waters in a breathtaking display.

The celebration continues with 74 activities throughout October, blending culture, sports, and faith. Among the most anticipated is the Regatta de Zamboanga on October 5, 7–10 AM, as colorful vintas once again race across the seas in a timeless tradition.

With the theme “Fiesta Hermosa: Celebración de Fe y Esperanza para de Todo!”, the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2025 promises a month of unforgettable sights, sounds, and celebrations that capture the city’s spirit of faith, hope, and unity.

In a press briefing at City Hall, Monday, September 23, City Tourism Officer Sarita Hernandez said everything is set for the Hermosa Festival, the grandest and most anticipated festival in the region.
