The Zamboanga Hermosa Festival Committee chaired by Mayor Khymer Olaso convenes Saturday afternoon, September 20 as part of the continuous preparation for the grandest festival in the region.

The meeting was presided over by City Administrator Percival Ramos and Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Mayor Celso Lobregat on behalf of Mayor Olaso who was in the east coast for an inspection of projects. It focused on security details, traffic management, budgetary requirements for logistics and other needs.

The opening salvo for the highly anticipated Zamboanga Hermosa Festival is set on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

The city government, through the City Tourism Office has prepared a series of activities for the festival which will culminate on October 12, the feast day of the Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar, the city’s patron saint.

Present during the meeting were City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Dr. Elmeir Apolinario, City Tourism Officer Sarita Sebastian, Executive Assistant II Christian Olasiman, Executive Assistant on Traffic Management Ret.
