The Asia’s Latin City is known for being one of the many historical cities in the Philippines. It is a home which showcases a variety of talents including arts. Arts is the expression of human creative skill and imagination and usually revolves around visual forms such as painting or sculpture, music, literature and dance.
As part of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2019, the City Government will showcase talents of Zamboangueno visual artists in an activity dubbed Zamboanga Art Exhibit that will kick off from Sept. 29 to October 19 at the KCC Cinema Lobby.
Now on its 5th year, the multi-artist exhibit will feature various artworks like painting, photography, digital art, mixed media and sculptures of Zamboangueno artists Aradji, Awab, Belleza, Bendanillo, Cabatit, Cases, Castro, Cruz, Cua, Cueno, Dael, Dajalos, Enojo and Zabala among others.
All artworks must revolve on the festival theme “Diversity, Resilience and Happiness” or Diversidad, Resiliencia, Alegria”. (Nikkie Wee/Queenie Francisco-WMSU Masscomm Interns)
