Twenty-six (26) youth city officials assume key positions in the city government in line with the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan, August 10 to 17.

Mayor Khymer Olaso administered the oath of office of the Youth City Officials during the flag rasing ceremony in City Hall Monday morning, August 11.

The young officials are student leaders from different private and public junior and senior high schools in the city. They underwent a rigorous process of examination and interview prior to election conducted by the Sangguniang Kabataan Zamboanga City Federation (SKZCF).

The week-long Youth City Officials program, spearheaded by the SKZCF, highlights the leadership capacity of the youth and their ability to work alongside the local government in building a city where “no young person is left behind.”

The Youth City Officials for 2025 are the following:
