The Seattle’s Best Coffee (SBC), a global brand now under Nestlé Professional, officially opens its first branch in the city Thursday, October 2.

It is located at the ground floor of One Campaner Building in Barangay Zone III, bringing its signature brews and comfort food closer to more Filipinos in the south. It is the 64th branch in the country and the 5th in Mindanao.

Mayor Khymer Olaso , Vice Mayor Beng Climaco and the mayor’s chief of Staff Secretary to the Mayor Celso Lobregat graced the event, showign their support for the new addition to the city’s growing coffee destination.

Seattle’s Best Coffee will be open daily from 6 am to 12 midnight, offering a full menu of coffee, tea, milkshakes, breakfast meals, paninis, pastas, salads, and pastries.

Also present during the opening rites were SBC Executives including the SBC Zamboanga branch owner, and other SBC officials.

SBC was originally founded in Seattle in 1970 by brothers Jim and Dave Stewart, known for its smooth, bold, yet mellow coffee, made with 100% Arabica beans. (Bernadeth Lazaro) (photo credits: Roselyn Bunot)
