Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) Chief Executive Officer Bob Zozobrado pays a courtesy visit to Mayor Khymer Olaso Wednesday morning, May 6 in City Hall, to discuss possible collaboration on retirement-focused initiatives in Zamboanga City.

Zozobrado emphasized the mandate of PRA an attached agency of the Department of Tourism (DOT), to position the Philippines as a retirement destination for foreign nationals and former Filipinos, highlighting its role in attracting investments and supporting tourism-driven growth.

Both sides explored areas of convergence, focusing on improving services for retirees and developing a more supportive environment for long-term residency, while aligning these efforts with the city’s broader tourism and development agenda.

Mayor Olaso together with his Chief of Staff and Secretary Celso Lobregat welcomed the engagement, expressing openness to partnerships that promote retiree welfare and inclusive growth, while emphasizing coordination with national agencies to strengthen local development initiatives.
