A 3-storey multi-purpose building will soon rise at the barangay complex in Calarian.
This, as Mayor John Dalipe and Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja led the groundbreaking rites for the project Wednesday, May 22.
The project costs P4.087M and will occupy a 150.48-square meter area. It will be undertaken by a private contractor – Berachah Construction and Supplies with supervision from the City Engineer’s Office. It is expected to be completed on September 10, 2024.
The project is aimed at enhancing the workspace for barangay officials and staff, as it will provide a more spacious and comfortable environment for the local public servants, thereby improving their efficiency and service delivery to the community.
Present during the groundbreaking ceremony were Councilors Vino Guingona and Jerome Santos, City Engineer Christopher Navarro and staff, contractor representatives, and barangay officials of Calarian. (Bernadeth Lazaro)
