Mayor Khymer Olaso on Friday, June 5, welcomes officials and prospective investors from China who are here on an exploratory mission in Zamboanga City.

Accompanied by Councilor Rey Bayoging and Zamboanga Economic Zone and Freeport Authority Chairman and Administrator Raul M. Regondola, the Chinese investors paid a courtesy call to Mayor Olaso in City Hall.

The investors are exploring potential opportunities in Zamboanga City, particularly in the manufacturing of tiles, LED wall systems, and solar energy products.

During the meeting, Mayor Olaso expressed the city government’s full support for legitimate investments and business opportunities that can contribute to economic growth, employment generation, and development in Zamboanga City.
