The mayor issued the directive during the flag raising ceremony at the City Hall grounds Monday morning, assuring that as chief executive he will not leave the problem unattended.

Ever since he assumed office, Olaso has made it a point to personally look into issues and concerns that affect the constituents.
Before attending the flag ceremony, the mayor dropped by the traffic-prone La Purisima-Camino Nuevo intersection to observe the situation and to offer solutions to the problem.
“We are doing everything we can to help our city,” the mayor assured, as he commended the City Engineer’s Office, General Services Office, Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and other departments concerned for their efforts in declogging drainage systems, and flushing and clean-up of the city, among others.
