With the arrival of fresh stocks of vaccines, the Office of the City Veterinarian resumed its Oplan Alis Rabis vaccination campaign in the barangays with Tulungatung as its kick-off site Tuesday, June 20.
A total of 411 cats and dogs or 50% of the target population of 822 with 243 clients were served during the anti-rabis campaign in Tulungatung. Of the total number vaccinated, 315 were dogs and 96 were cats.
On Wednesday, June 21, the OCVET team will be in San Roque with 15 centers operating as vaccination sites. The activity will be from 9am to 11am. Pet owners are encouraged to coordinate with the Barangay Council.
On Thursday, June 22 the campaign will be in Sta. Maria. For the month of July, the OCVET has scheduled the vaccination campaign in 11 barangays. (Sheila Covarrubias)
