The City Health Office (CHO) continuously strengthens its anti-dengue advocacy, as cases are recorded regularly.

CHO personnel led by the Sanitation Division pursues information education campaign to advise residents on the 4S Kontra Dengue as well as conduct fogging operations in areas where cases have been reported.

Residents are advised to remove water-holding containers and to clean premises to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds.

Barangay officials are likewise urged to help intensify information education campaign to prevent and control dengue transmission.

The 4S strategy stands for search and destroy mosquito breeding places, seek early consultation, secure self-protection, and support anti-dengue fogging or spraying operations when necessary.
