With grace and elegance, the official candidates of Miss Zamboanga 2025 paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Khymer Olaso on Monday morning, September 22 at City Hall, following their grand debut before city government employees during the weekly flag-raising ceremony.

Mayor Olaso warmly welcomed the candidates, expressing pride in their determination to carry Zamboanga’s banner of beauty, culture and character. He extended special encouragement to one candidate who will represent the city in the upcoming Miss World Philippines pageant, assuring her of the local government’s support as she brings pride to the national stage.

In turn, the candidates thanked Olaso for his words of motivation and for standing behind the pageant, which they described as more than a competition but an opportunity to showcase Zamboangueña excellence and the richness of the Hermosa Festival tradition.

The much-awaited Miss Zamboanga Coronation Night will take center stage on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Mayor Vitaliano D. Agan Coliseum in Barangay Tetuan. The event serves as one of the highlights of this year’s Zamboanga Hermosa Festival, a grand celebration of faith, culture and identity that unites Zamboangueños near and far.
