Mayor Khymer Olaso together with Executive Assistants Ret. BGen Edwin de Ocampo and Christian Olasiman, representatives from the City Tourism Office, and the security sector conducts a walkthrough at the R.T. Lim Boulevard Thursday night, September 25, as part of the security preparations for the grand opening salvo of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival slated on Saturday, September 27.

The mayor also took a look at the rehearsal of the students who will perform during the opening salvo which will be highlighted by the land-based and sea-based Parade of Lights.

Mayor Olaso has issued Executive Order 050-2025 mandating the implementation of a traffic rerouting scheme from 7pm to 9pm, September 25 for the rehearsal and from 5pm onwards on Saturday, September 27 during the opening salvo.

The chief executive has directed the security sector and the city departments concerned to ensure the orderly and hassle-free conduct of the different activities for the Zamboanga Hermosa. (CMO-PIO) (photo credits: Miljohn Mancao)
