Mayor John Dalipe Monday morning swore in Roderico Jose “Bovic” Lucero as the new City Human Resource and Management Officer (CHRMO).
Dalipe said Lucero deserves the post having served the City Government for more than 35 years, 22 years of which as Assistant City Human Resource and Management Officer.
Lucero in his message described his assumption as “a classic example of patience and perseverance” saying “it has been years in the making.” “It was a long and winding road,” he added.
Foremost, Lucero thanked the Almighty God for giving him challenge. “Second, I thank Mayor Dalipe for giving me this opportunity to face this challenge. Third, I thank the men and women of my office, who I know, will be there to help me resolve this challenge and last but not the least, I would like to thank all of you for being my challenge,” he said, addressing City Government employees.
Lucero succeeded Marie Angelique “Apple” Go, who resigned from the City Government service last August 29. His appointment takes effect September 19, 2022.
