Mayor John Dalipe convened Friday, February 2, the Local School Board to discuss updates on the preparation for the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet, which Zamboanga City will host after 18 years in April this year.

Also discussed were the upcoming Division Meet on Feb. 15-17, Mayor’s Reading Program and the Alternative Learning System (ALS).

The Board likewise passed three separate resolutions—one, approving the P27.600 million budget for the city’s hosting of ZPRAA; the other was endorsing the P2.4 million allocation for the Division Meet, and third, approving the P13.6 million funds for the reading program.
