Dalipe banners initiatives for senior citizens

Mayor John Dalipe welcomes Senior Citizens Partylist Representative Rodolfo “Ompong” Ordanes and national officials of the Federation of Senior Citizens Affairs of the Philippines (FSCAP) during the latter’s visit to City Hall recently.

The courtesy visit to the mayor was on the sidelines of an event organized by the FSCAP national chapter in collaboration with the local federation.

During their exchanges, Mayor Dalipe cited his administration’s numerous initiatives for the senior citizens, the latest of which was the unveiling of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) granting P1,000 per quarter cash incentive to all residents aged 60 and above regardless of employment status, membership in organizations, pensions and other remuneration. This, he said is to show gratitude and recognition for their wisdom and contributions to the city.

Cong. Ordanes thanked Mayor Dalipe for the programs and initiatives for the senior citizens in the city, stressing that he, together with the FSCAP is doing his utmost best to provide more benefits and privileges for the sector nationwide.
