Mayor Khymer Olaso personally facilitates response to assist and support residents affected by flooding at the Ayudahan Drive and San Ignacio, Filinvest in Tumaga today, August 25.
The mayor had to cut short a meeting with barangay officials in City Hall to rush to Tumaga due to the incident.
As this developed, Search and Rescue Teams from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) were deployed to San Ignacio, Filinvest and other flooded areas in Tumaga upon receipt of the emergency call at 10:22am today.
Rescue teams from CDRRMC-member agencies such as the Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard among others also rushed to the site to conduct rescue efforts.
