Mayor John Dalipe and the Local Finance Committee spearhead the Executive Budget Forum, as department heads, division chiefs and administrative officers prepare their individual budget proposals for 2025.

The finance committee during the forum held Monday, July 1 at the Celebrity Hall, Grand Astoria Hotel, explained the major thrusts and policy directions for fiscal year 2025 to include source of income, spending ceilings and budget strategies and accounting concerns.

Representatives from the civil society organizations (CSOs) were are also invited to give them the opportunity to take part in the process for a collective planning and decision-making.

For FY 2025, the City government will be working on a 6.172 Billion pesos budget, which is a 14.46% increase to this year’s executive budget. (Sheila Covarrubias)
