City government officials and employees gathered at the City Hall Lobby on June 5 for the First Friday Mass of June, reflecting on the importance of appreciation, encouragement, and faith in both personal and professional life.

Presiding priest Rev. Fr. Anjoe Rivera of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (MCIC) emphasized in his homily that people need compliments, appreciation, and affirmation to help them move forward and recognize their worth, highlighting the importance of valuing and encouraging one another.

Mayor Khymer Olaso, Vice Mayor Beng Climaco, Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Mayor Celso Lobregat, department heads, and city employees joined the Eucharistic celebration.

The First Friday Mass was sponsored by the City Human Resource Management Office, City Planning and Development Office, and City Budget Office as part of the city government’s continuing effort to promote spiritual growth, strengthen values, and foster unity among public servants.(Sheyn Arambala) (photo credits: Kathy Wee Sit)
