BOSS extended until Jan. 31

The city government will extend the operations of the Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) until the end of the month.

Licensing Officer Benjie Barredo on Monday, January 21, reported that extension was approved by the city council following the request forwarded by the licensing division, thru City Mayor Beng Climaco.

The extension comes in the heels of the continued influx of applications to the BOSS which hit its 10,000 target mark on its 18th day of operation. As of January 20, the BOSS has received 10,189 applications, with 8,994 assessed and under process in the BOSS backroom.

As of January 20, the BOSS has issued a total of 5,786 permits.

The extended BOSS operation will run until the end of the month, with new operating hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Meanwhile, some 800 assessments remain unclaimed at the BOSS, and Barredo has appealed to the business sector to claim their assessments at Centro Latino.

Residents may check the assessment list which is posted at the city website and Facebook page to see if their assessments are ready. (Jasmine Mohammadsali)
