In preparation for the much-awaited opening of the SM-Mindpro in Zamboanga City, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) is facilitating the recruitment of workers ranging from managerial, supervisorial and support group that will man the mall.

The SM human resource team led by Regional HR Manager-Mindanao Vicenta Zuñiga met with Mayor Beng Climaco in City Hall the other day to discuss about mechanics for the hiring of some 900 manpower for different positions set from January to March or the first quarter of this year.

The recruitment is facilitated by the CSWDO-PESO located at Pettit Barracks, beside the City Health office. Interested applicants may visit the office from 9am to 4pm Mondays thru Fridays or call at telephone numbers 991-2897 for registration. Applicants must bring their resume.

After the registration and submission of resume, interview schedules will be set.

The positions up for grabs include managers/ supervisors for the selling, counter/checking and customer service and support group for human resources, treasury, accounting, warehouse, fixed assets and supplies, store consignor and store security. Also needed are applicants for store security representative, customer service assistant, warehouse clerk, sales clerk, stock clerk, cashier, checker and numerous other positions.

As this developed, the PESO is currently setting schedules for the conduct of job fairs exclusively for SM-Mindpro within the first quarter of this year.
