Mayor Khymer Olaso on Saturday, September 20, officially turned over to the residents of Barangay Baluno, the newly constructed Day Care Center, a project aimed at strengthening early childhood education and community support services in the area.
Costing P3.75M, the facility was constructed by a private contractor with supervision from the City Engineer’s Office.
Mayor Olaso also acknowledged former Mayor John Dalipe for initiating the project, and emphasized that investments in child development are key to empowering the families and uplifting the future generation.
With the project, barangay Baluno now has improved access to early education, giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive within the community.
Joining the mayor during the turnover ceremony were Councilors Dan Vicente, Frederick Atilano, Elbert Atilano, Joel Esteban, Atty. Gian Enriquez, and Vladimir Jimenez, as well as representatives from the City Engineer’s Office (CEO), the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), and Baluno barangay officials.
