Key officials from the cities of Zamboanga and Isabela undergo a 3-day training on Health Leadership and Management Program (HLMP) to develop capabilities in establishing responsive leadership and governance system focusing on family planning (FP) and adolescent sexual reproductive health (ASRH) issues and inequities.
Facilitated by the Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), the training, which kicked off Wednesday, July 24 at the LM Hotel in Tetuan, the leadership development program is specifically designed for city leaders to develop their capabilities in establishing responsive leadership and governance systems.
Mayor John Dalipe, represented by City Health Officer Dr. Dulce Miravite, said the collaboration strengthens the city’s resolve and highlights the importance of united efforts in building a society where the youth can build careers and families responsibly and successfully. “Together we are not just participants in a program, but architects of the future where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.”
Key participants to the training were Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Hataman, Isabela City Health Officer Dr. Mohrein Ismael VI, Councilor Vino Guingona, Dr. Miravite, other members of City Leadership Teams of both cities, Commission on Population and Development -Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Director Jeff Fuentes and ZFF personnel.
