Personnel from the City Licensing and Business Permits Division under the Office of the City Mayor intensifies inspection of resorts and other tourism-related and business establishments in the city to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Primarily, the team checks if the establishments are operating with the required business permits and licenses and are complying with the policies and regulations provided therein.

The inspection is done in collaboration with other city offices and agencies.

Recall that the city government has issued cease and desist orders to gasoline stations operating without the necessary permits and licenses, following continuous inspection and monitoring activities.

The team has discovered 18 out of the 43 gas stations in the city to be without the required business permits and licenses, thus, the issuance of the cease and desist orders. (CMO-PIO)
