Dalipe conferred the ‘2023 Most Outstanding Public Servant Award’

Mayor John Dalipe has been conferred by the RP Mission Development (RPMD) Foundation, Inc., with the 2023 Most Outstanding Public Servant award, during the flag raising ceremony in City Hall, Monday, July 1.

The RPMD, a reputable company that evaluates performances of government officials in the country, bestowed the award on Mayor Dalipe, citing his visionary leadership that resulted to significant strides in infrastructure, public services and civic participation in Zamboanga City.

The award was a result of an exhaustive review and deliberation process for 2023 that concluded in June 2024.

During its assessment, the RPMD recognized Dalipe’s contributions “to public service quality, community responsiveness, effective policy implementation and fostering transparency and accountability.

“His leadership has driven substantial progress and established him as a model of excellence in public administration both regionally and nationally,” the RPMD said in its citation signed by foundation head Dr. Paul Martinez.

Meanwhile, Mayor Dalipe in his message, expressed profound gratitude to the RPMD Foundation for the recognition. “It’s truly humbling that as a neophyte local chief executive, our efforts and commitment are being rexognized by such a reputable organization.”

The mayor said he is sharing the award with all residents of the city as he thanked the men and women in the city government for their dedication and support.

“Without your dedication and support this achievement will not be possible. We may be confronted with many challenges but if we stand united, we can overcome all these challenges together,” the mayor added. (Sheila Covarrubias) (photo credits: Kathy Wee Sit)
