The city government releases a total of P1.599M as cash assistance for 1,559 persons with disability (PWDs) from barangays under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) – field office III during payout held at the Sta. Maria covered court Tuesday, April 30.
The continuous rollout of the PWD financial aid pursuant to Ordinance 505-2019, is the marching order of Mayor John Dalipe who is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive community for all residents.
Of the total beneficiaries, 117 were from Cabatangan, 188 from Calarian, 142 from Camino Nuevo, 43 from Canelar, 159 from Malagutay, 296 from Pasonanca, 329 from Sta. Maria, 158 from San Roque, and 167 from Tumaga.
Mayor Dalipe was represented by Executive Assistant Edna Sumergido during the payout.
With these initiatives, individuals with disabilities in the city can access the financial assistance they need to thrive and live a life of dignity.
