Zamboanga City will be staging the first-ever advocacy color fun run to bring together and highlight advocacies observed every March – Women’s Month, Fire Prevention Month and Rabies Awareness Month, on Saturday, March 23.

Dubbed ‘Corre Jovenes’, the activity will be spearheaded by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) National Federation led by president and Councilor Carol Julianne Dalipe in partnership with SK Tetuan, City Mayor’s Office –Gender and Development Focal System, Office of the City Veterinarian and the Bureau of Fire Protection – Tetuan Sub-station.

Assembly time and place will be 5:30am at the City Mall grounds in Tetuan. The fun run will kick off at 6am.

The route will be City Mall- Tetuan – Estrada Street Curve to B. Candido Street – Crispin Atilano, Don Alfaro Street and will culminate at the Yubenco Mall – Tetuan grounds.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register starting Friday, March 15 from 10am to 5pm at the SK Tetuan Computer Center. The event is FREE of charge. (Sheila Covarrubias)
