Mayor John Dalipe personally supervises the distribution of financial assistance to 243 families displaced by the December 27, 2023 fire in Calle Basa, Tugbungan, amounting to a total of P1.13 million.

Facilitated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), the cash aid ranged from P2K to P5K, depending on the classification of house ownership and the severity in the damage incurred during the fire incident.

House owners with totally damaged houses received P5K each, sharers and renters got P3K each while house owners with partially damaged houses were entitled to P3K assistance while sharers and renters got P2K each.

Mayor Dalipe assured that the city government is ready to support and assist residents who are victims of calamities, in line with its social welfare program.
