For March 6-7 rollout: 5,140 seniors get P11M quarterly cash aid

A total of P11M worth of financial assistance was disbursed for the quarterly cash incentive of 5,140 senior citizens from 4 barangays during the March 6 and 7 rollouts personally led by Mayor John Dalipe and other city officials.

The distribution took place in 4 different venues, catering to senior citizens from Talon-talon, Tetuan, Tigtabon, and Pangapuyan.

Of the total recipients, 2,417 were from Talon-talon, 2,434 from Tetuan, 181 from Tigtabon, and 108 from Pangapuyan.

Due to the large number of beneficiaries in Talon-talon and Tetuan, the payout of the P1K quarterly cash incentive for these barangays was divided into two days, March 6 and 7.

The city government, under the leadership of Mayor Dalipe, is bent to continue efforts to provide support and assistance to all its residents, most especially the elderly residents of the city, regardless of their employment status, membership in organizations, or social pension status.

Assisting the mayor during the payouts were Councilors Vino Guingona, Vincent Paul Elago, and Al-Jihan Edding, Executive Assistant Amado Natividad Jr., CSWDO staff, paymasters from the City Treasurer’s  Office, barangay officials, and senior
citizen association officers. (Bernadeth Lazaro)
