CSWDO sets up online registration for elderlies

The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWDO) has established an online registration system for senior citizens to facilitate a seamless distribution of the P1K stipend per quarter.

Senior citizens may access the link bit.ly/ZC-SCDatabase or scan the QR code to register online.

Based on the guidelines, the online google form is open to all registered senior citizens in the city. As requirements, the elderly must be a resident of the city for at least 6 months and a holder of the OSCA Identification Card duly issued by the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs – Zamboanga City.

The online registration process is free of charge. A senior citizen can also register or ask for assistance from the nearest social worker in the CSWDO field office or at the barangay hall.

The online Google form allows elderlies who are bonafide residents in the city to register their information with the city government.

Once a senior citizen has submitted the form, information will be added to the city’s database of senior citizens.

The database will be used to track the number of senior citizens in the city necessary to identify their needs and develop appropriate programs and services for the sector, according to the CSWDO.

For questions and concerns, senior citizens can contact OSCA at 991-5377 or CSWDO Welfare Division at 975-1514. (Sheila Covarrubias)
