Dalipe marks 1st year anniversary with free services to residents

To mark his 1st-year anniversary since his election and assumption into office, Mayor John Dalipe sponsored an outreach mission for city government employees at the City Hall lobby from 8am to 5pm, Monday, July 3.

The services offered included blood sugar testing, blood pressure monitoring and blood letting activity: dental services; COVID-19 vaccination; free massage; free manicure and pedicure; free haircut; Barista demo with free drinks and baking demo with free cookies.

The celebration, according to Mayor Dalipe is “not only a time for festivity but also a chance for us to strengthen the bonds within our city government family.” It will provide a platform for networking, fostering collaboration and building connections across different departments and teams, the Chief Executive added.

Mayor Dalipe’s first year anniversary in office is highlighted by his conferment of the Nation Builders and Mosliv Award as Local Chief Executive of the Year for his leadership and service under the priority banner of transparency and accountability towards sustainable development, in ceremonies held in Okada, Manila June 30

The City Government of Zamboanga was likewise recognized as the Most Livable and Sustainable city with Dalipe’s agenda of progreso, desarollo y servicio sincero.

On Saturday, July 8, the mayor will bring city government services to barangay Maasin and the neighboring areas through the Justo y Decente Ayuda na Barangay program. (Sheila Covarrubias)
