Authorities have impounded 19 malunggay pandesal rolling stores and issued notices to comply to owners of 10 production sites found to be operating without business permits.

The rolling stores were impounded by personnel from Task Force Ordinance due to various offenses: operating without business permit, obstruction in public places, and operating without official receipt and certificate of registration or OR/CR.

Meanwhile, personnel from the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) inspected malunggay pandesal production sites in Divisoria, A&W Putik, Gregorio Drive in Putik, Tetuan, Mampang, San Roque, Ayala, Sinubong Labuan, and Upper Clarian and found all to be operating without the required documents – business permit, sanitary permit, health cards for employees and fire safety certificate.

BPLO Chief Benjie Barredo said notices to comply with requirements were issued to the concerned operators. The impounded rolling stores will not be released unless requirements are complied. (CMO-PIO) (photo credits: BPLO)
