11,771 get boostered in Night Market vax rollout

The City Health Office has recorded 11,771 to have availed of booster vaccines since the Night Market COVID-19 vaccination rollout started August 15 until Monday, September 12.

Mayor John Dalipe said the booster incentive program he initiated will be continued and expanded to encourage more individuals to get boostered and consequently get added protection against COVID-19.

The figure covers the vaccination rollout at the Night Market in Rizal Street that started August 15 and the Night Market in Baban Street in Baliwasan that started Sept. 5.

For every booster dose, a vaccinee gets free 5 kilos rice as an incentive.

Mayor Dalipe reiterates his call for people to prioritize booster doses and get the added wall of protection as the coronavirus remain ever-present.

Dalipe’s incentive program is in support of the national government’s PinasLakas campaign that aims to strengthen the country’s wall of immunity against COVID-19. (Sheila Covarrubias)
