In addition to the Members’ personal staff, and to provide adequate legislative support services to the Sanggunian, the Office of the Secretary to the Sanggunian was created by virtue of Section  469, Article 1 of Republic Act No. 7160, and pursuant to Ordinance No. 167, series of 1994.
