The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) issued a certificate of compliance to the City Government of Zamboanga for submitting a compliant and acceptable local cultural inventory for 2022, pursuant to Section 14(b) of the National Heritage Act of 2009. The Local Government, through the Museum Services, continually conducts research and documentation of existing cultural properties in the city to enrich the local heritage database and to support the building of the national registry as spearheaded by the NCCA.
