The City Museum had initially coordinated with the Department of Education in Zamboanga City on January 17, 2023, regarding the city council’s resolution number 1819. A resolution respectfully recommending to the Department of Education, through the initiative and cooperation of El Museo de Zamboanga, to incorporate the history of Zamboanga City and its local culture in the basic education curriculum in the primary schools in the city.
